Till' Death Do We Pinterest: Easy Food Cooking for Your Murder Mystery Party

While murder mysteries are a great way to get together with your friends and family to have some fun, it cannot be denied that entertaining people has its drawbacks. Between cleaning, cooking, decorating, getting packets and a costume together, prep-word can be exhausting.

It shouldn't have to be, though! With this in mind, Party Until You Drop Dead brings you this week's post: "Till' Death Do We Pinterest: Easy Food Cooking for Your Murder Mystery Party" where we'll show you some simple ways to make feeding your guests much easier on yourself while cutting down party prep-time!

The thing about murder mystery parties and food is that things can get, well, messy. (and we're not talking about the murder!) With costumes and prop pieces everywhere, it is important to keep food simple and contained. Of course, that makes everything easier on you too!

~Bring on the Food~

Pizza: Always a crowd favorite, and something easy to please with. But with cheese, sauce, and grease flying everywhere, it's difficult to contain the stains. The solution? Pizza crescent rolls. A stick of cheese and some pepperoni rolled into pre-packaged crescent roll dough. pop em' into the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit  and 11 - 13 minutes later, viola! Instant crowd pleaser.

Tacos: A simple dish that packs a punch, and has lots of yummy toppings! These tacos are a mini version of the real thing, but present the same spicy goodness, all while being portable for your busy schemers. Simply get some 'scoop' tortilla chips, toss in some beef with taco seasoning and shredded cheese and you're set! Other toppings such as shredded lettuce, minced tomatoes or onions can go on them as well. Once assembled, place your creations into the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until the cheese is melted.

Cornbread + Mini hot dogs = Corndog Muffins! It makes sense, right? Just grab some hot dogs, slice them into one inch pieces, pour some cornbread mix into a muffin pan, then stick one piece of hot dog into each. Follow the directions on the cornbread mix for cooking. Once you take them out of the oven, place the cute little muffins on platters with a stack of napkins!

Cupcake bar - all of the fun of cupcakes without the prep! Decorating cupcakes for dessert can be both a mess and a hassle, and people tend to like different amounts of frosting, sprinkles, or whatever. To make it easier, just let your guests do the decorating! Baking a few batches of cupcakes and setting out bowls of toppings makes it easier to please everyone - even yourself. Try this idea for a flawless dessert.
