Review: How To Create Your Own Murder Mystery Party by Joseph J. Franco

As I was about to embark on writing this semester's murder mystery, I thought it would be good to do some more research into the process of writing and hosting them. There were only two books that I could find on the subject, How To Create Your Own Murder Mystery Party by Joseph J. Franco being one of them. I picked it up over on Amazon for about $12 (with Amazon Prime) and set out for a good read!

Interested in reading up on the subject for yourself? I've prepared a little review and summary of the book to help you determine if this is what you need!

Hello, all.

Unfortunately, due to a family emergency I have had to put this blog on hold for a few months to be able to manage the situation as well as university classes. I am, however, working with some friends to build some amazing new site features, articles, and a super big surprise that I will be launching before SacAnime Summer 2014! This doesn't mean that events will stop either, simply articles until the summer (mid-June) when I have the time to put up quality writing to improve everyone's (pretend) criminal experiences.

Don't worry - just because posts have stopped doesn't mean that I have stopped.

Things planned for launch in mid-June:
  • Murder Mystery Reviews
  • Event Recaps
  • More Pinterest Parties
  • An interactive party planning calendar
  • Printables and diy decor guides
  • Articles involving hosting a murder mystery, how to win a murder mystery, how to cast a murder mystery, and so much more!
The calendar and AniMysteryRPG page are now updated and ready to go for new events this year, so hang on tight, things are going to get crazy!

One more note - a super late thank you to the 125+ people who came out to our AniMysteryRPG event at this past SacAnime Winter 2014! We have received amazing feedback from the convention board and are planning on bringing an even bigger and better experience to Summer 2014!
